Licensing Agreement
Last updated: 2025-03-01
Zinema Music tracks are available under two frameworks: the Creator Whitelist content licence for verified creators, and commercial synchronisation licences for broadcast, advertising, and film use. Both are described below.
Creator Whitelist (Content Licence)
For verified creators on the Zinema Creator Whitelist: a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to synchronise tracks from The Vault in video content published on your registered channels.
Coverage: YouTube monetisation, short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), podcast audio, and educational content. Claim-free across registered platforms for the duration of your whitelist status.
Not covered: broadcast television, film (theatrical or streaming), advertising, and any use that generates synchronisation royalties outside of the platform monetisation models listed above.
Commercial & Broadcast Licensing
For use in advertising, branded content, film, television, streaming productions, and any context outside the Creator Whitelist scope, a separate synchronisation licence is required.
Licence terms, territory, duration, and fees are negotiated on a per-track, per-project basis. There is no rate card — the brief determines the terms.
To request a commercial licence, contact info@zinema.music with: the track name, intended use, media type, territory, and estimated broadcast/distribution reach.
Stem Licences
Individual stems for tracks in The Vault are available on request. Stem access requires an active Creator Whitelist status or a commercial brief review.
Stems may be used to create derivative works within the scope of the licence granted. They may not be redistributed, sublicensed, or incorporated into sample packs.
Attribution
Whitelisted creator content: attribution to Zinema Music in video descriptions is encouraged but not required.
Commercial and broadcast uses: attribution requirements are specified in individual licence agreements.
